Description
This is the story of how Abu Ad-Dahdaah (RA), on hearing the following verse of the Noble Quran, donated his valuable orchard for the sake of Allah. Abu Ad-Dahdaah (RA) said: "O Messenger of Allah, Allah is asking for a loan, yet He has no need for a loan?" Nabi (PBUH) replied: "That is true, Abu Ad-Dahdaah, He only wants to admit you into Paradise by means of it." Abu Ad-Dahdaah (RA) called ouit, "Give me your hand, O Messenger of Allah. "Nabi (PBUH) gave him his noble hand. Thereafter Abu Ad-Dahdaah (RA) said, "I make you a witness, O Nabi of Allah, I have now given my orchard as a loan to Allah Ta'ala." He subsequently took his family out of the orchard because it no more belong to them.
