About The Book This is volume 2 of the The Most Beautiful Names of Allah. It has 70 chapters and over 400 pages. In the First Volume, we included 17 chapters related to the subject of the Beautiful names of Allah. Some of them were general while others were related to Synonyms, Antonyms, Pronouns, Adjectives, and varieties of Du'a'. This Volume 2 includes the remaining 68 names of Allah. They do not belong in the category of Synonyms or Antonyms. They are derived from verbs or are verbs, but have been presented in the Qur'an as Names and as Subjects. As been said before the total number of the Names of Allah are 99. These are the ones that have been mentioned in the Qur'an and they are the ones that the Prophet had mentioned and explained to us their meanings. About the Author: Dr. Ahmad H Sakr was born in Beirut, Lebanon. He received his academic education at the American University in Beirut, and the University of Illinois where he got his Ph.D. While in Lebanon, he got his Islamic education through tutoring from the late Grand Mufti of Lebanon as well as from a large number of Muslim scholars from neighbouring Countries. He served as Director of the Islamic Center of Beirut. While studying in America, he was a founding member and president of the Muslim Students' Association of the U.S.A and Canada, currently known as the Islamic Society of North America (or ISNA), a mother organization in North America.
