Description
The book likely centers on the Islamic concept of the "People of the Book" (Ahl al-Kitab). It discusses how to debate or have a dialogue with them. The "People of the Book" typically refers to Jews, Christians, and sometimes others who possess a divine scripture. The description includes a quote from Quran 3:64, which calls upon the People of the Scripture to come to a common agreement based on the worship of Allah and not associating anything with Him, and to not take each other as lords instead of Allah. If they turn away, it instructs to say, "Bear witness that we are Muslims [submitting to Him]". This verse likely forms a central theme in the book's exploration of debating or interacting with these communities.
