The merits of the Messenger of God (PBUH) are an art in which people, in the past and present, have classified many books; It was one of the purposes of the Hadith books that are primarily concerned with the practical conditions of the Messenger (PBUH). In worship and treatment, as it is the good example that we emulate, and therefore we see them separate the hadith about its merits in separate books, among them Ibn Katheer, whose reliance was on the book of the characteristics of al-Tirmidhi, then he added to it what was mentioned in the books of Sahih and Al-Masanid, which the hadith and the jurist cannot dispense with. What Ibn Katheer mentioned in this book is the most comprehensive of what can be gathered for this purpose. He did not leave any aspect of what was mentioned in the Hadith books on the merits of the Messenger (PBUH) except mentioning him, and he arranged that, combining the effort and the accuracy of the arrangement and its goodness.
