Our Arabic Language introduces different thematic units for second grade students. It contains 20 units divided into 2 parts; each part containing various subjects that introduce social, religious, and cultural aspects of our children’s daily lives. Part 2 includes 10 units (93 pages) containing titles, such as Being on Time, Electricity, Bees, Computers in Our Life, and other titles. Each unit is formed to enhance basic language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. Within the different thematic units and activities, students are encouraged to read, explain, comprehend, analyze, and join words into a short conversation. Each unit includes the following exercises: Pronunciation of words and reading text Word definition Comprehension and discussions Analysis and composition sentences Conversation Writing Chanting Memorizing short Surah or Haddith Listening and answering Class activities This series comes in 6 levels consisting of 2 parts each, except for Level 6. Each level contains 2 student textbooks (one for each part) and a handwriting book.
