High-resolution print of an original Watan art piece. This piece depicts a line attributed to Mahmoud Darwish: "If the olive trees knew the hands that planted them, their oil would become tears." The background is a hand-painted watercolor gradient, a palette of colors that evoke the colors of an olive tree: shades of green for the leaves and yellow-browns for the branches and trunk. A slightly faded white design of olive branches adorn the space around the quote, with cut-outs of tree roots on each side of the quote.
