Muslim American Leadership Alliance

The Muslim American Leadership Alliance (MALA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in Chicago in 2015 that has grown into a national organization. It focuses on sharing stories, celebrating Muslim American heritage, and building bridges with other faiths, and serves as an NGO member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council. Its flagship program, Muslim American Journeys, is a partnership with the Library of Congress that preserves and presents American Muslim stories as an educational resource.
