BiographyAttorney and first-generation Mexican American who began her career mediating cases for Latino families at the Chicago Justice Center, then litigated workplace-safety and Black Lung cases for the U.S. Department of Labor; later opened a corrective exercise studio in Lake County. Raised three sons, advocating through Chicago Public Schools for her deaf son. Vice Chair of the Lake County Zoning Board of Appeals. Lost the 2024 District 52 race by 47 votes; running again in 2026.
