Join us for a women-only workshop dedicated to rediscovering our God-given worth, deepening our connection with Allah (SWT), and building meaningful connections with one another. Through the teachings of the Qur’an and the example of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, we’ll explore how to move beyond shame and self-doubt and embrace the dignity Allah has bestowed upon us.
Sunday, November 22 | 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. | MCC Conference Room | Join us in person or live | register at mcceastbay.org/sisters-workshop
Through guided breathing, reflection, sisterhood activities, and exercises centered on honor and gratitude, we’ll create space to reconnect with ourselves, strengthen our faith, and support one another in our personal and spiritual growth.
Together, let’s cultivate a sisterhood rooted in faith, shukr, and purpose, and rediscover the strength we carry when we recognize our worth through the eyes of Allah (SWT).
About the Speaker:
More Sister Rooya: http://mcceastbay.org/rooya
Rooya Ayubi is a storyteller, life coach, wife, mother, and courageous immigrant daughter who walked across the desert from Afghanistan to Pakistan at just six years old.
After a decade of deep depression due to constant feelings of unworthiness, Rooya discovered that healing wasn’t about becoming someone different – it was about remembering who Allah created her to be.
Rooya bridges modern discoveries in human transformation with the timeless wisdom of Islam, reminding women that many of the truths we are searching for today have always been part of our faith.
Her work weaves together the art of storytelling, Powerful Non-Defensive Communication™, Qigong, contemplative breathing, and heart-centered Zhikr, grounded in Islamic principles of tawheed, taqwa, tawakkul, and ihsan. Through this integration, Rooya helps women reconnect with their hearts, remember their inherent worth, and step into their purpose with greater clarity, courage, and trust in Allah.
Her message is simple: Remember the dignity Allah (swt) has bestowed upon you, then follow in the footsteps of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) to embrace your appointed role as a Khalifa of Allah.
She is also an administrator for the Holistic Homeschoolers in the Eastbay. She frequently hosts workshops titled “Chasing The Dunya Effect” and other workshops on self-worth.
