- Communication
- Communication was amazing and agency representative involvement was so helpful. When ever I had a quick question, they asked my question in a minute.
- Mina & Azizyah
- I was in Mina with non shifting, Mina was too hot on walking days like Jamarad days, and some times we needed to walk to the bus because somehow it can’t come closer. Other than that Mina was fine the temperature inside the tent and surrounding areas were managed.
- Dedicated scholar
- Yes, we had a dedicated scholar that was trying his best on those hot, sleepless, long walk days. The last Jamarad day was overcrowded and hard to manage a group that had a different walking speed, he still managed.May Allah SWT reward the best.

- Overall experience
- I strongly recommend Al Rajhi as the service provider. We were beyond well taken care of. They were everywhere, send off at our gateway airport at JFK, smooth and warm welcome at the airport in Madina, every hotel we went to, at the Mina camps, at Muzdalifa to received us, at Arafat. They were ask us a question, and we are there to help you! It was service with a smile. The entire team of Al Rajhi and Adan travel were very proficient, knew what they were doing, could solve an issue on hand and all of that with Ihsaan. All the leads we saw on zooms meetings were just not on the screen, we saw them through the journey at different points. Brs. Rami, Amro, Muhammad Khalil worked so hard and diligently to deliver everything to us Hujjaj. It felt like they were completely over worked, if you walked into the hotel corridor at 1am, 5 am, or in the afternoon, you saw them working hard! SubhanAllah Allah gave them so much energy! It was just brilliant how they took care of us with absolute Ihsaan!

We felt very informed at every point in time. This was our only way to communicate and so as pilgrims we had to be on top of it all. Our favorite Sis Rukhsana was amazing, she didn’t make it to Hajj but it felt like she was with us through the journey! She was in California but she was super thorough and keeping us ahead of the game, letting us know expectations and answering all types of question for our rooming and other travel related questions and issues. We were a group of 7 and we were completely surprised by upgrades at the hotels in the blessed cities of Madina and Makkah. Nothing by we had expected or asked for, a pure surprise from Allah. Every step of the way, the service was impeccable. Alhumdullilah.

- Overall experience

- Communication
- Agency representative was very strong. Always noted support staff with vests in hotel in expected areas and ready to help even if they did not seem "on duty at a desk". They were supportive and helpful. Communication was complicated in early phases because of the number of whatsapp groups. Bus groups were seemingly irrelevant. I was accidentally not in the most active whatsapp group and missed Rawda appointment, unfortunately. Some whatsapp group links in emails didn't work, which created confusion. Overall just many groups. Putting same announcement in multiple groups makes people feel they are in the right one, but then the moment it's only put in one group then someone may miss it. Overall, very hard to keep track of so many people so I understand it, but it is a point of feedback regardless. For some reason, it was never communicated to me that the password for Nusuk was Aa112233@, so I only barely made my Rawda appointment individually. I don't know where I was supposed to have seen that. Maybe it's from missing the whatsapp group.
- Mina & Azizyah
- Muasim camp in Mina. Accommodations were great if not a bit excessive. I understand it's a luxury package so maybe it's what I signed up for but I felt that so much ice cream and sweets was not appropriate for such a spiritual experience. Beds were comfortable and AC was appreciated. Dedicated prayer spaces would've been appreciated but understand the space constraints. Location felt far from Jamarat relative to other Mina camps. Overall happy with the experience.
- Dedicated scholar
- Shaykh Hassan Lachheb
- Muzdalifah
- Perfectly acceptable. Snack bag was available on arrival and rugs were laid out. Bathroom queue was not unbearable. It is meant to be simple and it was and I appreciated that. Sleeping bag was not useful for me because in some opinions it invalidates ihram.
- Transportation
- To and from Airport was good as I was on first bus but I understand 2nd bus was delayed by over an hour. Train was good however it was very disorganized to give people their ticket. Maybe should have been given ahead of time rather than 20 minutes before boarding. We could not locate the people whose ticket we had in hand. Luckily it all worked out but it was stressful.

Pilgrim review 19Al Rajhi Luxury 2 via Adam Travel
- Overall experience
- Strongly Recommend
- Communication
- The agency was fantastic and communicated things very well over and over. There were no surprises and everything went very smooth for us!
- Mina & Azizyah
- Majar al kabsh camp was great and very easy to walk to from jamarat and the buses although at times did not come right outside our camp location and we walked an extra 10 minutes through a tunnel, it was nothing and was very easy! Majar al kabsh was comfortable and clean. We had no issues and it surprisingly made everything even easier than anticipated ! The only thing that may have faced some inconvenience was waiting in long lines to use the bathrooms. We did not stay long days in the camp as we mostly would move back to our Mecca hotel during the day and then spend the majority of the nights in Majar.
- Dedicated scholar
- Yes, Imam Muamar Dahnoun. Would recommend him over and over again! He was very accommodating to everyone in our group and took very good care of us! Our experience with him was very memorable and one that we will remember for a life time!
- Muzdalifah
- Very well! We expected to sleep on the floor. We were given a sleeping bag and a boxed meal that had plenty of snacks and food! There were ice boxes full of cold water and drinks. We did not stay too long but it was memorable and not bad. I did not use the bathrooms so not sure how that was like.
- Transportation
- Buses were all comfortable and blasted AC, did not feel hot at all. I was initially afraid that sitting in traffic in the heat, we would be stuck feeling hot. Based on previous stories I had heard from my parents when they went to hajj. But I actually got cold at some points. We did not have to wait hours in the buses due to traffic. Everything went pretty smoothly.

Pilgrim review 20Al Rajhi Luxury 2 via Adam Travel
- Overall experience
- Strongly recommend
- Communication
- Communication was good overall alhamdulilah but it did sometimes feel delayed at times or overwhelming. There were often mixed messages or too many group chats to keep track of. Sometimes itinerary for an event wouldn’t be sent until 2-3 hours before the event which made it hard to plan ahead or fit in sleep. Would recommend the daily itineraries (for example, talks/lectures within a group) are sent at least a day in advance if possible
- Mina & Azizyah
- I was in Majar Al kabsh Al Rajhi luxury 2 group, no issues overall alhamdulilah, great experience
- Dedicated scholar
- Yes, Sheikh Masmari
- Muzdalifah
- Alhamdulilah, everything was good. Some notes: Sleeping bags felt hot on the ground, not sure if it’s the material but alhamdulilah we were happy to accept the challenge. Something I hope can change in the future are the bathrooms which I know are not under control of Al Rajhi. I understand there are a lot of people to accomodate but some of the stalls were filthy (stacks of used pads, used toilet paper, and other filthy items piling up on the floors of the bathroom) which made us feel dirty during hajj. Also no soap at all in the bathrooms but thankfully some of us brought our own. Can hajj ministry invest in more cleaning crew/ supplies since so many hujjaj are using these bathrooms? Also perhaps reminders for everyone to use bathrooms before leaving arafah might be helpful.
- Transportation
- Good overall. Train to muzdalifah took a while to get on but that was to be expected so I appreciated Al Rajhi making that known from before. And one time the bus driver took us to the wrong camp and then we got temporarily separated from group but alhamdulilah no big issues
- Guidance & reflection
- Alhamdulilah a lot of the prep beforehand was helpful to understand hajj rituals. Religious scholars gave us reminders before the act of worship on what to do and what to say (however, sometimes what they instructed was a little different than the information provided in the guidebook so it might be helpful if Al Rajhi doesn’t already do this to ask each group leader/sheikh if they have differences than what was was provided in the written guidebook — for example small differences in duas made during Sa’i, when to make dua during jamarat, the sunnah of each day during hajj etc)

- Communication
- The agency would have people that would mostly reply to you when you send a message, but did not always have an answer or would not always be able to help you with your question.
- Mina & Azizyah
- My camp in mina was majar Al kabsh and it was extremely close to the jamarat. The bathrooms were always maintained and there was always food available.
- Dedicated scholar
- Our scholar get switched last second as he was unable to get his visa and the new scholar did not give any duroos or anything.
- Muzdalifah
- I enjoyed in muzdalifah that men and women were separated and I could not see the men. And they had a carpet layed out.
- Transportation
- Waiting for a bus was something that always took time. We walked to the train for arafah and muzzdalifa which was a lot of walking and waiting.
- Guidance & reflection
- Before the hajj started the shiekh had seminars which was nice. During the actual hajj is when I feel like the sheikh started to appear less. It would be nice for the women to also have someone that is knowledgeable in the deen so we can have that opportunity as well and someone to reach out to and give us duroos in our tents.
- Would you recommend?
- I would recommend Al rajhi luxury four majar Al kabsh to anyone wanting to complete hajj as we did have guidance and people to answer our questions and the camp is very close to the jamarat. But we were not always helped as well for example we were not given headsets Despite asking multiple times. Also, the walking to the train station was very long.

Pilgrim review 26Al rajhi via Adam travel
- Overall experience
- Recommend with certain caution. You should be very aware of what camp placement you'll be put in. Although I do not recommend Al Rajhi as a service provider, if you had no other choice just make sure you're in Majr Al Kabsh or Muasim.
- Communication
- Adam travel were very responsive on WhatsApp and very helpful whether they were near or far.
- Mina & Azizyah
- (Non Shifting) Mina was a very bad experience in Camp 72 B. Overcrowded, horrible bathrooms, rooms with 40 women and no space to walk nor put your belongings safely, very small cafeteria halls, a very chaotic way of distributing food and you are the last camp to move everywhere the day of Arafah and Muzdalifah. It's location is great, right next to the train station assuming you get dropped off to the right spot if you go back and forth to Mecca on the days of Jamarat.
- Dedicated scholar
- Yes but I personally don't feel like we got a very spiritual connection with him, other than the meeting they had the day before leaving to Mina and the group dua the day of Arafat.
- Muzdalifah
- Horrible, even smaller seating arrangements which weren't necessary because there was no space for women to put their belongings thus creating a seat hog situation. No space for wheelchairs. Lots of different groups in the same space because again last to leave Arafat and last to reach Muzdalifah. No reception in the area. A truly unfortunate memory of the place because of the lack of accommodation for the pilgrims especially those that paid luxury for bare minimum.
- Transportation
- To and from the airport was good. Between manasim was train which was good. From Mina to hotel, never found the Rajhi bus and ended up paying high amounts for taxis after walking for 1-1.5 hours. From hotel to Mina, the first day we were dropped off to the door of the tent and after that we were always dropped off to a wrong/far location from the train station entrance and ended up walking from Jamarat to our camp app. 2-3 hours.

- Overall experience
- 4/5 (5 being strongly recommended)
- Communication
- Communication was not very detailed which overall holistically makes sense as it was broadcasted to a huge variety of individuals. However, details were often unavailable even when requested. For example, the only thing shared with us regarding the busses from muaisam to haram was that u take blue bus and then you take yellow bus . Nothing more like names of the buses name of the intermediate stop etc etc which I figured out on my own. I thought these were important details in case someone gets lost or things don’t go as planned.
- Mina & Azizyah
- I had a Luxury Shifting Package (Muaisam Camp) Azizyah hotel (Mahd Al Rissala) this hotel was very bare minimum. My guess is that this place had stellar photos but in reality it was not a competitive hotel. Probably Adam Travel picked this based of photos so can’t blame them much I guess. Multiple bedrooms had bed bug issues. Food in minna was better than this hotel. Most of our group got sick in this place due to following two major reasons : 1. Cafe always had a foul smell probably some food quality and cleanliness issue. 2. Common areas had very strong pungent low quality diffusers running all the time to mask the foul smell which caused respiratory irritations for most of us Minna accommodations: This is my first ever hajj . Not sure what to expect. Given minna camps are mostly make shift camps, nothing misaligned with the expectations set by mabroor essentials ! Ample and reasonable food , drinks and ice creams. ACs worked fine but air quality wasn’t that great mostly because a lot of people in a small space. Nothing extraordinary. Nothing sub par I would say.
- Dedicated scholar
- In Mina, Arafah and Muzdalifa all packages shared camps and scholars for all Al Rajhi luxury groups. They had 2 shyukhs and 2 muftis. In total for about 5 different groups / packages. None of the shyukh or muftis were part of my package/group but they were physically located close by. So at times I was able to approach them but there were also times when they weren’t available. Also, they didn’t stick to the same scholar assignments that they advertised earlier. Our group was expected to have a hanafi mufti. However, most of the time I had access to a Malaki scholar instead. Jamarat: they prioritize schedule which permits weak and older people to join as well over sunnah/hanafi timings which makes sense I.e . If someone is fit and young they can go on their own in smaller groups for Jamaraat at sunnah/hanafi times. Also, they had some muftis/ imams going at Sunnah times as well . So, that was also an option but this wasn’t advertised as clearly but I was able to figure this out.
