Pilgrim review 2Mawasim via Hisar tours
- Overall experience
- Recommend with certain caution. This group stood out because they performed the rituals of Hajj following the sunnah of our beloved prophet (PBUH). This group is good for those who have done their prep prior to going to hajj and for those who are self sufficient and independent. In my humble opinion, they are not a good fit for elder pilgrims or those who rely on guidance and being told what to do every step of the way.
- Communication
- Communication overall was fine. The miss here was for the sisters as they relied on other groups of their spouses for information during the days of hajj. Although Hisar tried to rectify this by providing receivers and or zoom links for the sisters to listen in and remain involved.
- Mina & Azizyah
- Non shifting package, Major al Kabsh. Overall, this was good. The brothers had 21 people in their tent where the sisters had about 110.
- Dedicated scholar
- Yes we had a dedicated imam throughout.
- Muzdalifah
- Muzdalifah for Majar Al Kibosh was overall very good.
- Transportation
- Transportation was a miss. Flights were changed causing pilgrims to fly into different airports, pilgrims were offered bus service from Jeddah to Madina or the option to purchase train tickets at their own expense. Furthermore, transportation was an issue during the days of Hajj as pilgrims were required to rely on public buses on the 10th of DH and 12th of DH which was a big miss for a "luxury package".
- Guidance & reflection
- Overall, the imams provided some guidance but not enough for those who were unprepared. I am grateful for being overly prepared and able to rely on my self and prep material. The imams lacked lectures during the days of Mina which was a miss. As stated above this group is good for those who are independent, self sufficient and prepared.
Pilgrim review 3Seera Mawasim via Hisar Tours
- Overall experience
- Won't recommend for last minute packages (72B)
- Communication
- We were on our own most of the times
- Mina & Azizyah
- Click towers hotel was good. Camp 72B was ok, bathrooms were not clean. Beds were congested
- Dedicated scholar
- Last minute scholar with no experience. Other camps from Sara had good scholars
- Muzdalifah
- Good but they tried to put sofa bed which caused issues due to space. No place to reach the sofas though it was empty. A good carpet would have been wonderful instead.
- Transportation
- To and from airport was good. From hotel to Mina was also good. Other places as said 72B was like left out by Sara. We had trains, wait time was more than 2 hours
- Guidance & reflection
- Since we had good Arabic speaking companions, it was good. Overall no complaints except some improvements by Sara for 72B camp.
- Would you recommend?
- Yes, but not for 72B or any last minute camps
- Rating
- ⭐⭐⭐ 3/5
