Attawheed Islamic Center (AIC) is located at 401 Washington Ave in Carnegie, PA, and serves approximately 700 patrons from the Muslim community of West Pittsburgh and surrounding suburbs. Established on June 12, 1995 by graduate students from Saudi Arabia attending the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, it is registered as a non-profit religious organization. The center offers services including funeral services, financial aid, a weekend school, and Islamic education for children.
