The Islamic Center of Charlotte, established in 1988, is the first Muslim Community Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. It offers all five daily prayers in congregation, two Jumu'ah prayers, Islamic lessons, a full-time Islamic school and weekend Quran programs, youth activities, community service, and financial assistance programs including zakat distribution and a food pantry. The center also provides marriage and divorce services and hosts weekly classes and lectures at its Masjid Al-Tawbah and Masjid Al-Nur locations.
