The Islamic Center of Macon, located at 1655 Eisenhower Pkwy in Macon, GA, was established in 2007 as a small prayer area and has since grown into a community center and mosque serving Muslims in Middle Georgia. The center offers congregational prayers, Friday prayers, Sunday school, Quran classes, and community services including monthly dinners, Nikah services, family counseling, and funeral services. Its imam, Muhammad Atif Abbasi, joined the center in 2008 and serves as a full-time imam and principal of the weekend school.
