The Islamic Center of Tri-Cities was established in 1979 in West Richland, WA, and built its current mosque on 2.5 acres in 1996. The center serves more than 500 families and nearly 1,500 Muslims in the Tri-Cities area. Its current imam, Mohamed Elsayed Abdelsalam Mohamed, leads daily prayers, delivers Friday sermons, and provides religious education, counseling, and community outreach.
