Masjid Saad Foundation, located at 5225 W. Alexis Road in Sylvania, OH, began in 1976 as a small prayer area on the University of Toledo's campus. The current 14.2-acre facility, purchased in 2007, houses Toledo Islamic Academy (established 1994), the Al-Bayan Weekend School, and a prayer area with capacity for 1,600 people. The center offers Friday prayers, daily prayers, religious education, family counseling, funeral arrangements, and community outreach programs.
